As a financial professional and an active member of his community, Chris Gongola is dedicated to helping individuals and businesses establish their financial futures. To broaden his knowledge and develop his professional skills, Chris regularly attends industry training and certification programs.
Chris has spent 16 years in downtown Chicago cultivating strategies for retirees and investors ranging from corporate executives, private company retirees, to government employees. Chris started his career working for Prudential Financial learning the foundation of any financial planning and after 3 successful years starting his career, Chris joined Smith Barney and quickly grasped the complexities of investing. In 2011, shortly after Smith Barney was purchased by Morgan Stanley Chris chose to leave the wirehouse structure and joined a smaller regional firm, Wunderlich Securities. After eight growth oriented years with Wunderlich Chris decided with the support of his wife Leslie that it was time to open Gongola Financial in Covington, KY.
Chris' experience and professional affiliations have fostered his practical approach to offering financial services and advice to his clients which includes but is not limited to the goal of “winning by not losing”. Maintaining a strong sense of community and a solid professional foundation are very important to Chris. Chris and Leslie enjoy their home in Lakeside Park as well as traveling together. Chris will be the first to tell you he's horrible at golf but loves enjoying good company on the course.
